How was your SportsRecruits.com experience? My parents and I did a lot of research before choosing SportsRecruits.com as the method we would use to promote my lacrosse skills/academics to potential colleges of interest to me. Our experience could not have been better. From the first day we spoke with the staff, to process of getting my highlight reel compiled, to the end result....we could not have been more pleased. Emails were answered quickly by the staff, there was a great collaboration between their staff and myself when compiling my highlight video and the Sportsrecruits.com staff are experts in what coaches are looking for, so they helped me choose clips that would be beneficial to my position. ...

How was your SportsRecruits.com experience? Absolutely great, even though we know you were dealing with many players, we always got the sense that Leah was your #1 priority. Phone calls were returned promptly and every deadline we spoke about was met. Was SportsRecruits.com easy to use? It couldn’t have been easier. Was the SportsRecruits.com staff helpful to you throughout the process? The response of the staff was probably the best part of SportsRecruits.com. We were under tremendous pressure to get the site up and running before Champions and Capital Cup, so not much time from the end of season to the first tournament. SportsRecruits not only got the site up and running but actually edited our game tapes and created the highlight video in a very short time frame. The extra added bonus is that Leah’s game film was reviewed by a woman who actually played the game and knows what women coaches are looking for. So many other sites have men reviewing the videos, or even worse people who have not played lacrosse. ...

On the experience with SportsRecruits.com: I wholeheartedly recommend SportsRecruits.com. Your ability to create outstanding videos that highlight each player’s skills while facilitating communication with coaches, were key factors in improving Matt’s visibility in the increasingly competitive world of college recruiting. And by offering video coverage of numerous camps and tournaments, as well as regular season and playoff games, we were able to choose among several high quality clips to be included in the final highlight reel. ...

Member Commitment: Chris Schoenhut, Class of 2011, Tufts University

On the experience with SportsRecruits.com: My name is Fred Schoenhut and I am father of Chris. Chris is a senior at Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY. Chris has committed to Tufts, has been accepted and will attend in the fall of 2011 with the current defending National Championship lacrosse team. Chris had to recover from a bi-lateral knee ailment during the early stages of his high school experience. This issue precluded him from playing at first, and later it hampered from him playing to the best of his capabilities. Once Chris was able to train regularly with Jon DiFlorio of Institute i3E and Dave Kotowski of Team Elevate, he steadily recovered from his knee problem and now has regained all of his speed and agility. Chris had also advanced some of his lacrosse skills with Coach Kotowski and Coach Kevin Brennan of the Long Island Sting. ...

Member Commitment: JW McGovern, Class of 2012, Yale University

Was SportsRecruits.com easy to use? Yes. The website was both comprehensive in its feature set and easy to add videos, transcripts, news articles and all the other materials a coach would be interested in seeing. The recent upgrade of the video management section of the website allows unrivaled control of text, access, and viewers. Was the SportsRecruits.com staff helpful to you throughout the process? They certainly were. Though we talked mainly to Chris Meade, we occasionally talked to Matt Wheeler. Not only was their information accurate and useful, it gave us the feeling that they'd be able to answer any recruiting question we asked of them. These guys are knowledgeable professionals! When our son was attending camps that hadn't yet appeared on their dropdown menu, a quick call to Chris produced near instantaneous results. Jake Reed's Fall Junior camp, Under Armour Midwest tryouts, and California Gold appeared less than five minutes after I inquired about adding them. ...

Member Commitment: Carson Mead, Class of 2011, Franklin and Marshall College

On the SportsRecruits.com experience: My son, Carson, has just committed to attend and play lacrosse at Franklin and Marshall college in Lancaster, PA. SportsRecruits.com was a vital part of Carson's recruiting experience. Being from the non-hotbed state of California, we had no familiarity with the recruiting process, and didn't even know where to begin. Because the lacrosse played in the Bay Area is so varied in ability, it was difficult to tell where we should even have been looking. Matt and Chris were great, and the SportsRecruits.com program led us through all of the right steps to a great academic and athletic match for our son. ...

When did you know you wanted to play college lacrosse at the D1 level? I think I knew I wanted to play college lacrosse when I was in the 7th grade. My high School coach, Coach Calabria, has really helped me get to the next level in becoming a D1 lacrosse player. When did you start the recruiting process? We started sending emails to coaches the spring before my rising sophomore summer. I was lucky enough to have some game tape from my freshman season so we signed up with SportsRecruits.com and sent them some highlights and they did it all for me. How did SportsRecruits.com help you with the recruiting process? Once the highlight video was done we sent emails out to a lot of college coaches right from the website telling them about my freshman season and my upcoming rising sophomore summer schedule with the link to my video and profile right on the email. ...
