What are you most excited about with regards to your program?
I am most excited about they way that we are able to develop young men both on and off the field.
How would you describe your coaching style?
What jumps out at you when recruiting? What do you look for in a player?
I look at what kind of teammate they are.
What are your “pet peeves” when recruiting?
One of my pet peeves is when a recruits parents are doing all of the communicating and not allow their child to be involved in the process.
What is the best way interested student-athletes should get in touch with you?
The best way is for a student-athlete to email me.
What should student-athletes avoid in their messaging to college coaches?
Addressing a coach as though they are talking to one of their high school friends.
What kind of players succeed at your program?
Players that succeed at Maritime are ones that put the team first and make sure they are always doing everything possible for the team to succeed as whole.
Once again, thanks to Dan for his time, and best of luck to SUNY Maritime this season!
