Description
As as catcher, I often have a courtesy runner. So when I get to run I really make an effort to learn and get better. My coach at 18U is really good about helping me be aware and take advantage of any opportunity when the defense makes a mistake. Here they threw to first and thought I would not go home--but they were wrong!
Description
I am a pretty fast runner for a catcher, but it was still nice to get my first triple since moving up to 18U. This one was a hard ground ball that reached the outfield fence pretty quickly. I had to hustle but my coach at third base is really loud and positive, and that kept me going!
