Sophie Kercsmar

My name is Sophie Kercsmar. I am a 2026 graduate from Scottsdale, Arizona. I play catcher and infield for AZ Hotshots 18U Gold Georges-Honea, which won the PGF 18U Platinum bracket this past year. Softball is my passion. I am a very hard worker, have been weight training for over two years, and I believe I am still getting better. In addition to my size and athleticism, my strengths as a player are high energy play, leadership and commitment. At the plate, I use the whole field and can hit for power. Defensively, I am versatile and often play middle infield or third base. My goals are to be a team leader, to win PGF Premier 18U and a high school championship, and to someday play for a top-ranked academic university. After college, I would like to attend law school like my parents did.
