Zala Balažic

Soccer has been my passion since the first day I started playing it. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 6 years old. My father put a soccer ball at my feet and from that day forward I’ve been in love with the sport. I currently play on the National team and have enjoyed travelling to other European countries playing the sport I love. I play in the WSC Pomurje, which last season was first in the national rankings and qualified for the women's Champions League. My position is defender or midfielder and my strenght in this position include: height (6.0 feet), well technically trained, good right and left foot, persistent and hardworking. My Academic and Athletic goal is to pursue and further my education in the Health/Medical field while playing soccer in the NCAA.
