Zachary Johnson

I plan to pursue an education and career in the Marine Sciences and play collegiate-level soccer throughout. Fall 2019 season I was the starting goalkeeper for the Downers Grove South Sophomore Team as a freshman, 2020 season has been deferred to Spring 2021. I have been the starting goalkeeper for every club team since U8 and for my last two school teams. I made the jump for Fall 2020 to Sockers FC to continue my development of my goalkeeper skills and increase my competitive edge. I have spent the last five years working out in personal goalkeeping training sessions developing both my fitness and core strength specific to the position. I am currently taking Honors coursework in Math, Science and Literature in my high school curriculum and maintaining a 4.0 GPA (weighted).
