Personal Statement
My name is Zach Newton and I am a senior at Franklin Community High School in Franklin, Indiana. I am a 2 sport varsity letter winner in soccer and volleyball with soccer being my main sport for many years. I started playing volleyball 3 years ago and have fallen in love with every aspect of it. I have been intrigued by the intricacies of the game, from hitting, back row, and serving, and have had the opportunity to learn from different styles of coaching and teaching. I would love to learn about the total game and hope to continue my education in volleyball at the next level. My academic career and leadership opportunities are a way to help me prepare for the academic life of college.
