Personal Statement
My name is Tyler Francis, and I am a goalkeeper for Arlington 2006B Red. I started my goalkeeper journey for the U12 DC United Academy, and continued it when I moved to California and played for the U13-U15 Santa Barbara Soccer Club MLS Next teams. I moved back to Virginia for the U16 and now the U17 season. For high school, I started on Varsity and received awards for 1st Team All District and 2nd Team All Region in 10th grade. My strengths are my handling, technical, footwork, and distribution skills, as well as my communication with the back line. Academically, I excel in school with a 4.53 GPA, and enjoy math and science. I would be a benefit to your team as I connect well with others, play to my best ability, and strive to improve myself and my teammates.
