Personal Statement
I started out playing soccer and developed a passion for it when I was 4 years old. My first experience with playing soccer was on a recreational league. At 7 I got into travel/club soccer playing on a boys travel team because they did not have a girls team my age. My next season I started to play up with girls two years older than me. I have since switched travel teams but continue to play up in age. I feel like playing up in age has given me more of a challenge and makes me want to work harder. I like to do anything and everything soccer related. I play for my school team, my club team (FCE United) and I am also on the 2010 Olympic Development team (ODP). My goal is to go to medical school and become a pediatrician and I want to see how far soccer will take me.
