Personal Statement
In junior year, I was one of the school team captains. My team voted for me because of my positive, focused and calm under pressure attitude. My coaches have said that I am coachable. I have learned to be resilient and adapt easily to changes and challenging situations through playing volleyball. These traits have also helped me be successful academically. I am hoping to continue playing competitively at collegiate level and continue applying the same discipline, focus, and time management skill that I have developed playing at high school that has allowed me to be successful on and off the court. Also having like-minded teammates with dedication towards the same athletic and academic goals, holding each other accountable, have been a major motivation and very rewarding.
