Personal Statement
My name is Sara Mitschke and I’m in the class of 2022. I'm a 5'8" DS/Libero currently playing club for Houston Stellar Volleyball Club on 17 Premier. My club team qualified for the Tour of Texas and won the Big South tournament where we earned a bid for nationals. At the Countdown City Classic, I had a passing average of 2.03. I go to Clear Brook High School. I'm currently ranked 4 out of 584 in my class, and my GPA is 5.76. I started playing volleyball in 1st grade because my older sister was playing, and I quickly fell in love with the game. Volleyball has taught me hard work, dedication, perseverance, and the importance of leadership. I love the sport because of the energy on the court when someone makes an amazing play, and the teamwork and chemistry required to be successful.
