Samuel Meers

Hi, my name is Sam Meers. I am a Junior at Louisville Male High School in Louisville, Kentucky, and I am a member of the 2004/03 Louisville City Academy Football Team. I was introduced to soccer by my British step dad, Jason, when he came into my life at 6 years old. I can't thank him enough for sharing his passion. It has made all the difference in my life and my passion for soccer has only grown through the years. I never give up on and off the field and leave nothing of myself at the end of a game. When the other team is winning, it spurs me on to work harder. I am not content to be anything but the best I can be and will study longer, train harder, and keep persevering until I accomplish my goals and those of my teachers and coaches.
