Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Samantha Laird and I just started my senior year at Central High School in Fresno California. I have a 4.0 GPA and have received Academic High Honors award and the President's Honor Roll award. Last season I was awarded the Silver Slugger award from my high school coach. I love playing softball for both my high school team and my travel team. I am excited to be playing for the West Coast Wolverines. I am a hard worker both on the field and in the classroom and I am a good teammate to my fellow softball sisters by giving 100% on the field and also cheering them on when I am not on the field. My goal is to continue my softball career while earning a degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice.
