My name is Railye-Marie Makainai-Kon, and I’m a senior at James B. Castle High School in Kaneohe, Hawaii. I’ve had a passion for volleyball since I started playing at age eight, ultimately choosing it over soccer in high school. Volleyball has shaped who I am, teaching me teamwork and resilience. I aspire to be the first in my family to attend college and play volleyball while pursuing a degree in business. My goal is to honor my family and create a path for future generations, working hard academically and athletically to make the most of every opportunity.
