Personal Statement
I started playing softball when I was younger because of my older sister, but I have continued to play because I realize that the game pushes me to be a better player and person. It has also been a great way to make new friends with people I would have otherwise never met. As a freshman, I am a Varsity starter in CF. I like bunting to get on base, using my speed to steal, and hitting line drives. I stay calm whether I am at the plate or on the field and always cheer my team on from the dugout. Academics are very important to me too, so I strive to be the best student-athlete I can be.
