Omar Erwa

My name is Omar Erwa. My parents are from Sudan, but I was born in Richardson, TX, and moved to Austin 2 years later. I started playing soccer at a recreational level when I was 4. I eventually started playing select at U10 with Lonestar SC and continued with them, playing DA at U12 and U13. When I was 15, I played UPSL with Roots FC/Sonny Guadarama Academy. I was the captain of the team in my second year. I currently play on the U19 Lonestar ECNL Red team and Lonestar's UPSL and USL-U20 teams. I play in a central midfield position where I am best on the ball, finding passes that others can't see and playmaking from the 10 and 8. I can also play as a 6 in a single or double pivot if playing in a possession-based style of play.
