Personal Statement
I am Maggie Ward, class of 2022 of Downers Grove IL. My main assets as a softball player are my speed and athleticism as a lefty slapper. I broke my school record for the 100M dash in middle school, and since track and softball are conflicting seasons, I now use my speed to produce runs on bases. I have loved softball since I began at five years old and have only grown to love it more in the past 12 years. My most favorite part of softball is the mental aspect while running the bases. I also play varsity basketball for my school and am involved with the National Honors Society.
