Personal Statement
Hi I’m Maddy Kaven and the first time I ever played volleyball was in 2nd grade with the YMCA. After covid I knew I loved playing the sport and wanted to try club volleyball. Now I'm in my third season with Austin Performance and I really love playing, improving my skills, learning game strategy, and bonding with teammates. There have been some challenges, but by working through them, I’ve become a more confident player Some of my hobbies include baking, rollerblading, and scuba diving. I also enjoy helping out with youth programs and babysitting! This year I am playing on the AP 16 Adidas team and am really enjoying it! My goal is to continue playing volleyball in college at a highly competitive level while pursuing a pre-med degree.
