Hello! My name is Lucas Mongiello and I am currently a Junior at John Jay High School in Cross River, NY. Cross country and track are sports that I have been enjoying since middle school. Running has taught me to open up my personality and has made me more determined to work harder in life. I never like to give up. I currently have a 3.7 GPA and am a well-rounded student. This has made me a member of the National Honor Society. I have also been awarded as a scholar athlete for multiple seasons. My PR for the 1600 in track is 4:44, my PR for the 3200 is 10:11 and my best 5K is 17:02. I have always loved the outdoors and have the stamina for outdoor trails and hills. Running is one of the many activities I am passionate about. It has helped me to become the person I am today!
