Hi, my name is Leia Mata. I am a guard/ shooting guard. My strengths when it comes to basketball are my tactical knowledge and technical skills. I play the game of basketball because it has taught me that I am more capable physically and mentally than I initially thought. At the next level, I want to have an opportunity to play basketball and show girls from Hawaiʻi that it is possible to make it to the next level after high school.
