Personal Statement
My name is Lauren Smith, aka L.C. I have played travel softball for 7 years. I've played as a pitcher, outfield and second baseman but currently pitch and play first base. I am a Type 1 Diabetic which adds its own challenges to the game but I always overcome them. As a pitcher I throw a fast ball, change up, drop, screw and curve ball. My favorite pitch to throw is a drop ball because I like watching batters swing over it. I typically hit in the 4 hole of our line up. I hope to continue my softball career in college.
