Kate Rodden

My first chance at volleyball was in fourth grade playing up on the fifth grade team. It was my first real competition which I loved! I continued to grow and play volleyball. My sixth grade coach changed me. She was a club coach technical, progressive and strict. She was also dependable, positive and supportive which prepared me for high school where I excelled to starting OH and captain my first two years. I found the love and respect for offense, defense and how much I loved playing back row. Being captain also taught me how to be a leader while also bringing a sense of comfort to my team. I will play any position just to help the team. I am happy with who I have become as an athlete and look forward to where volleyball may lead me.
