Kaijah Alexander

Hello, My name is Kaijah Alexander and I attend Long Beach Wilson High School. I also play for California Gold softball for travel ball. When I was younger, I was always at the park watching my aunties play softball for many years but never wanted to play myself. I would go to the park wearing sandals which got me the nickname of FlipFlop by an old coach. After a while something clicked in my head and I knew the sport was meant for me. Softball has created so many memories for me and so many friendships that I am forever grateful for. I have learned to love both the positives and negatives that comes with playing this game and I look forward to the many lessons still to come as I continue to develop as a ball player.
