Personal Statement
I’m Journee Calvin, a Middle Blocker from the Class of 2027 with a passion for volleyball. My journey began in 4th grade when my height led me to a recreational team, sparking a love for the game that has only grown. Through dedication and hard work, I advanced to the A team in middle school and earned a Varsity spot as a Freshman at Heritage High School in Frisco, Texas. In October 2024, I suffered an injury and underwent ACL reconstruction surgery in November. I’ve been working hard in rehab to regain my strength and mobility. While I focus on my recovery, I invite you to review my game clips from this season. I look forward to returning stronger next season!
