Josie Naeger

My love for soccer has blossomed over the years. Growing up with both an older and younger sister, I have embraced a competitive spirit. I began playing competitive sports in first grade with a focus on soccer. On top of my enthusiastic personality, I was a very energetic child. My parents helped my need for a challenge by putting me into gymnastics and soccer. My passion for sports grew as I continued to play them, the speed, atmosphere, and playing felt like being in one big family, connecting me to others. The lessons I have learned help me to be a better person on and off the field. Playing soccer has taught me that you always need someone or someone needs you even though it may not be at the moment.
