Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Jordyn Lewis and I am a swimmer for the SA swim team. I started swimming when I was 10 years old and have had a passion for it ever since then. I am hoping to advance my swimming career to a collegiate level as I deeply enjoy being within a team atmosphere. During my sophomore swim season (2022) I broke a school record when I swam the 100 yard backstroke. In addition, the 200 medley relay team that I was selected for made the state meet. The team made finals and I had a split time of 27.86 for the backstroke leg. I have maintained straight A’s throughout high school all while sticking to a regimented schedule of 5:30am and afternoon practices. I am always finding ways to improve my racing and I truly hope to expand my love of swimming into the next chapter of my life!
