Personal Statement
My name is Jehan Weerasinghe. I am a student athlete attending Walter Johnson High School (WJHS) in Bethesda, MD. I excel both in academics (details can be provided upon request), and plays Left Back and Winger for Potomac ECNL-RL. I have been with coach Aaron Manning and team for 3+ years. I have exceptional ball control and speed - i.e. the ability to trap/control ball in the back field, take it up field, and create scoring opportunities. I am unselfish and, above all, a coachable team player. Lastly, as a freshman, I played on the undefeated WJHS's Junior Varsity soccer team. I plan on trying out as a sophomore this year as well.
