Janessa Gutierrez

My name is Janessa Gutierrez, and I am a 2027 student-athlete at Newbury Park High School where I was voted Varsity MVP, 1st Team All-Marmonte League, and All-CIF Southern Section following my Freshman season.  I also play for Firecrackers RTY Select 16U.  I am a power hitter and love to hit in big moments in games, but I also take a lot of pride in my defense at SS or anywhere else in the infield or outfield.  In the classroom, I challenge myself to be the best student I can be. As a sophomore, the majority of my schedule consists of honors and AP classes where I maintain a 3.9 GPA.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing pickleball, volunteering at my local church, going to sports games, and spending time with my friends and family.
