James Powell

My name is James Powell and I am a starting defender for both my soccer academy and high school team. As a military dependent, I experienced soccer in the States and Germany and have spent years perfecting my craft. My “can-do; will-do” attitude is what drives me to be the best teammate on and off the field. My technical understanding of the game, coupled with my physical attributes (notably speed), is no doubt a valued asset. As with soccer, my academic studies are just as important. I am enrolled in my high school’s highly coveted Engineering Academy and my coursework includes a mixture of honors and AP classes.
