I played football and ran track at Decatur high school. During my time at Decatur I didn’t get to participate in all the activities I wanted to mainly due to Covid. I missed an entire year because of it but during the time I missed I still worked out on my own. During football i missed multiple weeks because of Covid, after the first week I missed I started going to the gym everyday before school at 4:00 but the time that I missed had a big impact on my season. I never stopped working despite the situation and I was still grateful to play with my friends one last time. When track season came along I decided to run distance and still went in the morning but changed my workouts a bit. I didn’t perform as great as I wanted to but I always kept my head up and kept working.
