Personal Statement
I'm the returning varsity catcher at Los Altos High School. I started slow as a sophomore, but finished the season with a .259 average. I'm a late bloomer -- I put on 35 pounds of muscle in 9 months and I'm in the middle of my first big growth spurt as a junio. Baseball is in my bloodlines. I'm a coaches kid, grew up around the game and love every minute on the diamond. Coaches complement my baseball IQ and quiet leadership. I love to compete at anything, and I'd eat my meals in the batting cage if my Mom would allow it. My dad played at Stanford and my cousin in the Show -- I'm all about going as far as I can. I'm a great student, good listener and I learn fast. I want to go to a great academic school.
