Personal Statement
I play club w/ Alliance Select 18A (2B/SS), and HS w/ Roosevelt (SS) in Des Moines, where I've earned 3 varsity letters batting mostly 3 or 4 in the lineup. In ‘22, I earned All-Conf. Hon. Men. In ‘23 I earned 2nd Team All-Conf. & honored by my team for my encouragement and example. I really enjoy the game, and I've been told that coaches enjoy coaching me. In ’23 HS season I hit .437/.494/0.592 with 4 SO in 71 AB. I love SS/2B. MI requires a high level of smarts, anticipation, fast footwork, and athleticism all of which I enjoy. I love playing with my teammates & for my coaches, & I love the self-confidence I feel as I face the challenges! Academically, I'm ranked 27/537 w/ a 4.22 GPA heading into my Junior year. I enjoy history, visual arts, and working on the student leadership council.
