Personal Statement
I am currently a centre back playing for Niagara Surf Soccer Club. As team captain and centre back, I pose strong leadership and communication skills and am able to organize the defensive line, as well as communicate with the goalkeeper and the midfield. I have the awareness required, and understand the importance of positioning as a defender. I read the game extremely well to anticipate plays, and the opponents next moves and am able to outthink as well as outpace the opposition and intercept the ball. I am ready to compete against any type of player.
