Personal Statement
My name is Giselle Mejia, I play for Firecrackers Weil 2024 I am a current freshman at Los Altos HS. Pitching has been my favorite position in softball. I have pitched through many tournaments in TCS, PGF, USSSA and etc. This has given me the opportunity to achieve a higher level of knowledge of the game. I have also learned to overcome adversity. I am extremely passionate about playing softball, in fact, I have established many friends who have become family. On my free time I enjoy volunteering for Meals On Wheels where I deliver lunches to senior citizens. In addition to softball, I am continuing my education at Los Altos HS, where I am enrolled in the AVID program. This program will prepare me for the school that I am destined for.
