Personal Statement
Hi coaches! My name is Gianna and I am a 2024 catcher and outfielder from Untamed Softball 18u Navy! I’m a junior at Westfield High School in NJ. I take my studies seriously and hope to end up working in public health and journalism. Outside of school and softball, I love to spend time cooking! With that, I am an active member in my school’s No Place For Hate Committee, which promotes equality and the elimination of bias in classrooms across the country. I am also involved in my church's peer ministry program! I’ve loved softball for longer than I can remember. Throughout my childhood and into adolescence, I’ve leaned on softball as a de-stressor and a way to develop a strong growth mindset. Check out the rest of my profile!
