Emma Umemura

Hi, my name is Emma Umemura and I am currently attending Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, CA. I have been testing myself on the softball field and in the classroom by having a 3.9 GPA with honors and principal awards including the California Junior Scholarship award in 7th and 8th grade. I have been playing travel softball for the last six years and I am currently playing with Breakers Labs Carter 18u, where I expanded my outfield skills. From there I have gained a stronger arm where I can throw on the line, drop step into the gaps, and can make sliding plays. On the other side of the ball, I am a right-handed gap hitter that has homerun power and can use all parts of the field.
