Personal Statement
I've enjoyed doing and trying new sports my whole life. When I was younger, I did Tae Kwon Do for 4 years (one belt away from Black Belt, moved to NC and the 1 dojo closed while in the process), after that I did 4 years of club swimming. Started volleyball in 2020, fell in love with the sport. Then, freshman year my friends said the JV soccer team needed a Goalie and that I should do it (I joined a couple of weeks into the season). I loved it and am back this year at Hickory High as a dual-rostered Goalkeeper. Still learning the sport since it's so new, but my Coaches have "been impressed".
