Emma Crick

I was training to be a competitive gymnast when I played soccer for the first time in middle school. I immediately knew that soccer was the sport for me. Unfortunately, my school’s sports stopped during the pandemic, so I tried to get on a club soccer team. After some initial rejections, I was invited to play at a club. I quickly grew very passionate and took every opportunity to learn by being a guest player for other teams and doing additional training. This helped me advance from a beginner team to more advanced teams. My soccer journey has taught me about resilience and staying committed. Playing for new teams has also taught me about teamwork and leadership. These skills have helped me improve both on and off the field. I am determined to become the best soccer player I can be.
