Emily Heintzelman

Volleyball is my passion. It is fast paced, exciting, physically and mentally demanding, and has been a positive experience for me in the friendships I have made with my teammates and the relationships I have built with my coaches. I possess a strong desire to compete and feel that I perform at my best when under pressure. I like to fight for every point and really enjoy that sense of accomplishment whenever my team comes up from behind to win a set/game. I also like to analyze my opponent because I understand that part of the challenge when competing is all about outplaying the opponent. My coaches describe me as being a quick learner, someone who plays with a high game IQ, and who is a supportive and motivating teammate. Thank you for considering me for your program!
