Personal Statement
My name is Ed Sims and I live in Brightwaters, New York. I have been playing golf since I was about 6, and my home course is Southward Ho Country Club in Bay Shore, New York. My favorite golf experience was on my 14th birthday when I played the Old Course at St. Andrews and then played the New Course the following day. I have been starting on the varsity golf team since seventh grade playing as a fourth seed in seventh grade, third seed in eighth grade, second seed in ninth grade, and third seed in tenth grade. In eighth grade, I was on the all league team and won a low-scorer award for my league as well.
