Personal Statement
My name is Devan Elia. I go to Newbury Park High School and play for Eagles Boys ECRL in Ventura, CA. I've loved and played soccer my whole life and have a rich family history of soccer players who were just as dedicated as me to the sport. I enjoy learning, having a high GPA and a 1270 SAT score. My school is an IB school and tests in the highest percentage of schools in California, proving the work I've put into my education, and my dedication. I’ve been on varsity for 3 years. At Eagles, I’ve won the Cal South Presidents State Cup and was a semi-finalist in the Farwest Presidents Cup. I’m interested in studying BioMed in college. Soccer has been one of the biggest parts of my life. I am a coachable, hard-working, student-athlete who wants to play at the highest level.
