Personal Statement
My name is Claire Chen, and I’m in the Class of 2027. I’ve been playing competitive soccer since I was 8, and on the field, I bring high energy and skill to help my team. I’m confident in my striking, ball control, and distribution, and I always work hard to keep improving. I love the game’s intensity and am constantly communicating with my teammates to ensure we’re all on the same page. Currently, I play forward for the De Anza Force ECNL 09G team with the jersey #13, where my coach is Paul Bravo (paulgbravo9@gmail.com). During the winter soccer season, I also play varsity soccer for Saratoga High School under Coach Ben Maxwell (coachbenmaxwell@gmail.com).
