Personal Statement
**WHY I AM STILL UNCOMMITTED** Mid Junior year I was in communication with some very strong programs. Then my mother was diagnosed with brain cancer, my family needed my help, and I no longer felt I could attend college so far away. It was a long tough road, but my mother has come through treatment & surgery, is strong & healthy again, and has an excellent long-term prognosis. A 6 yr starting CB on my highly ranked ECNL team, I am enjoying a successful season playing striker for my school. I am very organized and responsible about both my academics and athletics. I know how to take care of myself for peak performance. I've never missed a game for injury in my entire ECNL and varsity soccer career. I am a 2 year varsity captain on my school team under Coach Mike Pickett.
