Cassandra Zapata

Growing up, I always looked up to my brother who played baseball. At five years old, I would compete with him when we would practice together. A year later, my then nine year old brother was diagnosed with cancer, and I started devoting my time to my softball training since he could no longer play baseball. Ever since then, I fell in love with the game and have had a strong drive to train and compete. Playing softball in college is something I knew I always wanted, so I focus heavily on my academics just as much as I focus on softball. I’m looking for a quality education with a team that’s more like a family. I’m excited to build new life long friendships on and off the field!
