Personal Statement
I am a sophomore at Charlotte Catholic High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I have been playing Varsity Volleyball since my freshman year. In addition to school ball, I play club volleyball for Carolina Juniors (CJV) on 16 Mizuno, an open level team. As a left-handed setter, I bring a unique edge to my teams, and this year, was honored to be voted team captain for Catholic. My love for the game drives me to constantly improve my skills, and my strong work ethic reflects both on the court and in the classroom, where I maintain a high GPA. With a passion for teamwork and leadership, my goal is to continue developing as a player the next few years and then compete at the collegiate level for a school that is a great fit personally, academically, and athletically.
