Personal Statement
My name is Breanna Sommers and I attend Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ and play club for AZ Elite GUAA U17 Gold Team. I made my HS Varsity team my Freshman year and by the time we competed for the 6A State Championship Title I was a starter. I came to basketball later than many, so my skills are continually improving as my stats show. I initially started out in a post role due to my relatively larger size than the rest of the girls on my team, however over the past two seasons I have transitioned to a shooting guard role. I am a very versatile player who is comfortable on both ends of the court. I am capable of doing whatever my coach requires of me from shutting down the opposition's best player to making buckets and running plays.
