Ava Thomas

Volleyball has been a huge part of my life ever since 2017 when I started my journey at Legacy. The game has taught me about mental toughness, how hard work pays off and how to be a leader. I am proud to have been named captain for the past two seasons, it has taught me so much as a player, teammate and a person. My favorite part of volleyball is putting time in the gym with amazing people, and watching all of the hard work we have done pay off. Growing up my parents have been huge role models in my life. My mom, played volleyball at Wayne State, and my Dad played football at Ohio State. I am guessing that is where I get my competitive drive from. My goal is to play Division 1 volleyball and grow as a leader and a player.
