Personal Statement
My name is Amelia Albers and my goal is to go to a great college and play some volleyball! I am a fast and athletic libero with a lot of versatility. I’m ranked 27th overall and 5th for DS/Liberos in Wisconsin for 2023s, and am on the 2022 JVA Watch List. My Capital 17 Adidas team is one of the top teams in the state with a highly competitive schedule. I was voted MVP for my high school team and place great value in being a supportive and positive teammate. With the pandemic, my high school and club seasons have seen delays and cancellations. It motivated me train even harder, and I will bring this same determination to any college volleyball program. I am also a strong student and really look forward to the college experience—I would love for volleyball to be a part of it.
