Alexis Meyer

I started gymnastics at age two and by ten was looking to try something new. The first time I touched a volleyball I instantly loved the game. Instead of competing alone, I found being part of a team and traveling was much more enjoyable. Learning new skills and setting new goals was so exciting. My gymnastics background also gave me some advantages in my new sport – I was well-coordinated, enjoyed conditioning and loved jumping. I have been playing volleyball for six years and I still can't wait to hit the court every day. Looking to my future, I would like to pursue a career in business. I have strong leadership and organizational skills. More importantly, I love working with a team to achieve big goals.
