Personal Statement
My love of softball began at an early age. I was barely walking, yet able to chuck a ball across a room. I am competitive, especially with boys. Till this day, I still try to beat them at everything. I started playing recreational softball at 8. One day, I found the catcher's gear, put it on and dropped into a catcher's squat. That became my position, and I loved it. I started lessons, worked hard, and pushed myself. At 13, I joined a comp team and I have improved with each season. I am hardest on myself, as I strive to get better. My goal is to play with the best. I love to be challenged, I am a team leader who is loud, and aggressive. I will do whatever it takes to get better and be the best. I want to go to a good college where I can get an education and play the game I love.
